On July 19, 2024, at the Ariyana Convention Center, 107 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City, the Vietnam Association of Endocrinology & Diabetes solemnly convened its 6th Congress for the 2024–2029 term.
The Congress was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs and more than 300 members from hospitals, medical universities, and healthcare institutions nationwide.
Over the course of one working day with two sessions (preparatory and official), the Congress elected the new Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Endocrinology & Diabetes, comprising 52 members. At its first meeting, the Executive Committee elected 11 members to the Standing Committee and 3 members to the Supervisory Committee. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Dang was re-elected as President of the Association for this term.
